Differences in the Education System between Qatar and Indonesia

Hi friends welcome back to my blog. How are you? hopefully alright ..
this time I will discuss the comparison of the education system between Indonesia and Qatar.
the following is the discussion ...

1. Value-oriented Indonesian Education System.

This education system has been implemented since elementary school. Here students are given the teaching of honesty, tolerance, discipline, etc. This value is conveyed through Pkn lessons, even this value is also delivered at the level of secondary education and higher education.

2. Indonesia adheres to an open education system.

According to this education system, students are required to be able to compete with friends, think creatively and innovatively to explore and find understanding of the material discussed.

3. The education system is diverse.

In Indonesia, it consists of various ethnicities, languages, regions, cultures, etc. As well as Indonesian education which consists of formal, non-formal and informal education.

4. An efficient education system in time management.

In KBM, time is set in such a way that students do not feel burdened with the subject matter delivered because the time is too short or vice versa.

5. An education system that is adapted to changing times.

In this system, the Indonesian people must adjust the curriculum to the current situation. Therefore, the curriculum in Indonesia often changes / changes from time to time, until now Indonesia uses the K 13 curriculum, which is a form of change and revision of the KTSP / Curriculum 2006. Changes in curriculum over time are adapted to the current state of education , improve infrastructure, evaluate the performance of educators etc. With the efforts of education in Indonesia can be better so that the Indonesian people can balance other countries, especially ASEAN countries.

Qatar

This rich country thanks to oil has become one of the countries that has the most significant basic education innovations and supports research in higher education, such as BBC reports.

The government offers free education for citizens of Qatar. Massive investment in children's education in Qatar is heading towards an independent state in 2030.

Education system in Qatar

Education in Qatar is almost the same as in Indonesia.
1. if preschool education starts when the child is 3-5 years old.

2. in countries where primary school education is an obligation that must be carried out by the community, and schools are funded by the government. children can start school at age 6th.

3. Preparation of school education (equivalent to junior high school)
at this level the qatar country emphasizes more on students to be literate in Arabic / more religious. the duration of school at this level is the same as in Indonesia which is 3 years and the average age of children in this school is 13-15 years.

4. Secondary Education (if in Indonesia is equivalent to high school)
in Qatar the school is often referred to as a public high school, at this level students can choose between Academic Flow (general) for students who will continue their studies to the University or technical Vocational Flow for students who will work after they graduate from this school.
when students sit in high school, they are free to choose a second language in the WORLD LANGUAGE subject that is functioning to prepare for higher education.
For example: students choose French as their second language because the student will study in a French country.

5. the last is Higher Education.
in Qatar, a graduate will get a Bachelor of Science / Barchelor of Art with a duration of 3 years. while the postgraduate program lasts 1-2 years.

Note:
Schools in Qatar diligently give assignments in the form of essays and encourage children to always read books at least 20 minutes / day. Just like a western country that prioritizes the understanding of logic to familiarize children to describe their thoughts, improve children's critical attitudes and train children to get used to writing.

each country must have its own education system and have the same goal of educating young people.
so, thank you for visiting my blog and see you again in the next article:) ..
